Chocolate Banana Oat Cookies

Sometimes, you just need some chocolate.  Also, these cookies can be a portable breakfast because it’s basically bananas and oats.  In summary, you’re welcome. 


  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 Tbsp. flax seeds, ground
  • 2 Tbsp. cacao powder
  • ½ cup raisins (optional)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • ¼ cup cacao nibs (optional)
  • Dash of cinnamon


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F
  2. In a food processor, pulse oats until they reach a finer consistency (like a course flour)
  3. Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix to reach a homogeneous consistency
  4. Spoon out cookie-sized dollops onto parchment-lined baking sheet
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes
  7. Enjoy!
